The FAN2108 (datasheet) is a fully integrated, 8A, synchronous Buck converter that drives efficiency over a wide input voltage range (3V to 24V) in set-top boxes, graphic cards and point of load (POL) applications. This regulator integrates a controller, MOSFETs and a boot diode into ultra-compact, 5mm x 6mm MLP packaging—making it the industry's smallest 8A solution. At a 5V input and a 3.3V output, this device achieves a peak efficiency of 95 percent.
