SD card MUX interfaces 3 different voltage levels introduced by Fairchild Semiconductor
Designed for smart phones the SD card translating multiplexer interfaces 3 different input output levels between host and SD interfaces. The FXL3SD206 multiplexes between 3 voltage levels and 3 parts which save valuable board space and minimize complexity of design. It is convenient as this single device replaces a multiple chip solution in smart phone applications. Armed with an optimal 24-pin UMLP footprint, this SD card multiplexer is best suited for space-constrained designs found in smart phones and other SD applications.
Fairchild’s efficient design capabilities comes through in the component’s power management, signal path expertise, advanced packing, and portable designs. Other components that are also making waves are:
- The FAN2564, a low VIN LDO switcher that offers the efficiency of a switcher in the footprint of a LDO
- The FDMA1027PT and FDFMA2P853T, 20V P-Channel PowerTrench® MOSFETs, that offer the industry’s lowest profile with excellent power dissipation and
- The FPF202x series of advanced load switches that extend battery life in biometric sensor modules.
The FXL3SD206 SD card is priced at $0.39 a piece.
