TRANSITORY PHENOMENONS
1.1 GENERALS
The circuit sensibles elements can be damaged from the eventual tension impulses and/or can be originated from the multiple causes, two of them are pointed out:
a. Atmospherics discharged
Have the origin to many Km of distance and induce current impulses on the current lines which can pass the 10-15KA levels.
b. Electrostatics discharged
Have the origin on the proximity or contact between two corps charged with static electricity; typical is the discharged which happens when a human been who walked on a carpet touches an apparatus.
We speak about the tension impulses that can catch up values of 20KV; the electrostatic discharge (ESD) transfers the energy to the circuits directly for conductions or pairing and is a phenomenon that often is destructive.
