CE Marking
The CE marking was introduced with the purpose to make uniform the characteristics of safety of the products used in the various European Community countries. To reach the purpose were issued directives and laws where the constructors must attain to sell theirs products in the Community members countries
Law
The Legislative Decree n°476 of 4 December 1992 acknowledges the 89/336/CEE directive about the electromagnetic compatibility.
The circular 16 January 1996 on the application on DL.476 effectuates some clarification on the law.
The norme CEI 110-24 is the guide for the application of the legislative decree.
