Phone line protection or network protection

If you must realize a PROTECTION, AC-safe is your starting point.
In fact it is a circuit where it is possible to experience several types of protection. You will have the possibility to protect the telephone line, therefore the apparatuses connected to it (modem etc.), from lightnings and the extracurrents, or with opportune modifications you will be able "to filter" disturbs on the electrical power 230Vac.
A classic example is the disturb on the TV, when we use the dryer. Well, I have tried on the field Ac-safe and, interposing it between the TV and the dryer, the disturbs on the TV disappear!
Moreover I have tested it in laboratory CE with Schaffner instrumentation, against unexpected overloads (surge) (EN61000-4-5 verify the start tension with impulse to 2.2KV) and the behavior has been excellent!

The documentation with regard to the protections (telephone or net), is an immense one, always must consider that the characteristics of the disturbance are NOT known, but only presupposed. For that, in the realization of the PCB, I have left opened several possibilities.
