WHY dev.emcelettronica.com ?

Internet can either be a huge source of precious, valuable, useful information or a bottomless swamp that drags you down with worthless, unrelated, useless trash.
Along the years the spread between these two sides of the web is getting larger and larger and even more larger, and this for an electronic/software engineer/designer is indeed frustrating.
Moreover, sharing one self experience, in terms of code, schematics, bug report etc. is as much important as taking benefit from other people experience.
That's why we at dev.emcelettronica.com, as electronic engineers ourselves, came out with the idea of offering a web site facing these problems.

WHAT does dev.emcelettronica.com offer?
A web site whose principal targets are :
- Filtering real usefull information from useles ones. This was the one of the sparks that set off the whole process.
- Provide a blog where design ideas can be presented and commented. We originally provide articles and ideas, but anybody can contribute with his/her own experience. (Spark #2)
- Provide “books” for easy access to all necessay info to devenlop a project from scratch. The topics are broad, from cpu architecture a environmental impact of solid state technologies.
- Provide easy and direct access to semiconductors producers news news.emcelettronica.com. Keep one self up to date about new products is a real burden, we try to relieve designers gathering all news in the same place.
- Provide free access to Datasheets datasheet.emcelettronica.com.
- Provide a search engine optimized for electronic design, just in case you can not find what you need on our web site link a esearch.........!

HOW does dev.emcelettronica.com make things tick?
dev.emcelettronica.com is totally committed to WEB 2.0. (Share for life!) hence the use of TAXONOMY and FOLKSONOMY.
We try as much as possible to give easily readable pages.

SUPPORT US!
At the moment more than 100.000 people per month (for an average of about 350.000 pages / month) visit our web site.
This simply means that advertising on our site pays back with an high level of visibility.
We do not want to offer a billboard cluttered of ads, since our aim is to offer a tailored solution for the advertiser business.
We also think that a good technical article offering an immediate solution for a real life problem is still the best form of advertisement in the system designes world.
That's why we articulate our offer in terms of visibilty rather than page area size.

dev.emcelettronica.com WANTS YOU !
We are looking for contributors with technical expertise about any kind of topic concerning :
Embedded systems.
PCB design.
Power Supplies.
Analog design.

WELCOME TO YOUR ELECTRONICS OPEN SOURCE

DEV.EMCELETTRONICA.COM is structured in POSTS and PAGES.

The POSTS, that constitute the real BLOG, therefore the dynamic part of the site, are subdivided in several categories and are archived based on the publication date. Among several arguments we find... (for the moment only PROJECTS)

All the POSTS, in inverse order of publication, can be found here --->> BLOG
The POSTS archived in temporal order by month and by category, can be found here --->> ARCHIVE

The PAGES instead constitute the static part of the site and are subdivided in 2 categories: PROJECTS and RESOURCES.
The Projects are some real own electronic projects, tested, and sometimes even produced! The resources instead are some line guides, links, tutorials, all needed in order to develop the argument.

The main project PAGES, can be found here --->> PROJECTS
The main resource PAGE, can be found here --->> RESOURCES

In order to access the DOWNLOAD page, you have to be registered.
Registering is very simple and doesn't cost you a thing, all you have to do is access the Register page, insert your USERNAME and your EMAIL, click on REGISTER, and the PASSWORD will be automatically sended to the email that you have inserted.

Once you are registered and made the LOGIN, beyond the access to the download page, you can also leave a comment, practically to all the several parts of the site (PAGES and POSTS) interacting with the several authors, in order to point out mistakes, links, notes for the plan in issue, or to tell your opinion.
Then if you also want to contribute, you are welcome, suggest your opinions!
Currently there are already several persons that colaborate on the BLOG:
ADMIN, the webmaster, a translator and 3 authors, but any other proposal of collaboration will be very well accepted, therefore if you want to share ("share for life") your library of projects and/or resources, go ahead...

The sharing: In fact is just this the carrying topic of the BLOG, sharing your own projects (in the limits of the intellectual property... and business I'll said!), sharing the own resources, in order to grow professionally and to develop always better solutions. Why to continue to keep closed in the drawer the several experience passages, instead of enriching them, sharing them, confronting them and adding also those of the other planners.
Practically this BLOG is the library that I always wanted to have, subdivided by notes/arguments (POSTS) and by projects/resources (PAGES)

If you must plan a GSM Telephone Combinator, for example, go to the resource page GSM and you will find all relative to the argument, then go to the SINCLAIR Telephone Combinator plan and, quickly, without getting lost, you'll have a strong point of departure. Subsequently, in an economic way, you can realize your card of appraisal of the plan.
If You have also always wanted this library...well, participate!

Every PROJECT, or RESOURCE, is realized in several phases:

Usually we write the PAGE of the Project or of the Resource, comprising the schematic, the component's list, the design of the printed circuit PCB, eventual firmware, the treatment of the useful arguments in the development of the plan, eventual manuals or instructions and vary links on the argument. Then it comes the presentation in the BLOG through the relative POST.
On the site, it has been made a subdivision, for Hobby and Professional use.

For hobby use, that are those who want to realize the plan for personal use, they can register and in the download section they can get the schematics and other useful things in PDF format. Moreover they can make demands and signal problems of realization in the Comment section, at the bottom of every page.
For professional use, people or companies, that intend to commercialize the project and/or to produce it, they can download the file gerber (in order to realize the plan directly) and/or the ASM assembler source file (in order to realize the software directly).
These files are available in the store --->> STORE at low prices.

Moreover, GERBER and ASM, are also advise to anyone that wants to develop similar plans, considering them a valid point of departure, realizing in short times a personalized demo-board.

Once you have downloaded the files from the STORE you can easily realize the Printed Circuits PCB prototypes sending the GERBER file to a producer of Printed Circuits, as for example MDSRL and therefore to have in 24/48h your circuit!
(You can moreover verify the files opening them with a gerber viewer, there are many for free)
The ASM file instead will be supplied like "source" of specific software included in firmware projects, mostly written for the integrated system of development MPLAB-IDE from Microchip. (in the future developments for Renesas and Texas Instruments are previewed)

The purchases on the STORE are safe, because are guaranteed by 2 types of transaction:
Money Transfer or with Credit Card through PAYPAL (Read why PAYPAL is safe)

Between the functionalities of the site, a FEED RSS is also present wtc_rss_24x24.png.

You can register through your RSS reader in an easy way, considered also that by now the several browsers, Firefox or Explorer, have integrated it.
In this way you will have always in view the various updates of the BLOG everyone of which, could be an interesting plan for You. In fact any plan and/or resource, once published, it is presented on the BLOG, and therefore it will update the RSS reader.

Therefore do not forget to register --->> uxmp.gif

If you are using GOOGLE instead (as the rest of the world...) I recommend --->> Add to Google

Through Google Reader and/or Google Homepage you can be up-to-date with our new POSTS.

Particularly with GoogleHomePage you can have the contents customized on your Google HomePage keeping an eye on the articles that interests you...

Social Bookmarks
Keeping the favourite directory in the Browser, seems by now anachronistic, in fact who hasn't got lost in the own bookmarks or had to install search plugins.
With the Social Bookmarks all this is ancient history!
In fact, you have noted the little icons at the end of every POST/PAGE (you can see them here too at the end of the page), through their link, you can add the page that interests you to your OnLine Favourites.
Register on Delicious or on Digg (choose the one that suits your preferences) and keep the favourites on the WEB, in an oredered and sorted manner through the simple tags.
Furthermore you can choose to share the favourites with the other users and in your turn to search, through the tags, in the comunity's bookmarks!
Finaly, an interesting guide for DEL.ICIO.US

THE WEB HAS CHANGED!!
