5. The astable circuit
Of a great importance is also the circuit which changes automatically of state in prefixed times, the classic oscilator.
The pairing crossed, connects the condensers, between the collector and base resistances, provoke a similar behavior as we saw previously: when a condenser is empty, the conditions are verified for the transistor conduction which was interdicted and this provokes the interdiction of the another transistor which was in conduction.
This exchange is repeated to the infinite, generate wave shapes cadres, with the times of impulse and pause regolabili connects the places potentiometers in the base circuits (variables from 5 to 50kOhm)

The simulation, made with the same model, allows to verify this behavior accepting to vary the frequency and the impulse/pause relation of the wave shape in exit (Vc2).
Also in this case, the simulation can permit the circuital planning, that is the determination of the most opportune values of the resistances and the condensers to use (indicated in the figure without the respective values).
