Born almost as a joke, the results convinced us to continue it as a serious job.
Along the time we made lots of improvements: the blog switched to DRUPAL, we incremented the rate of articles, projects and resources publishing, contents have been translated to Italian, English, French and Spanish.
During the summer holidays 2008 (but part of us was still at work ), we thought a little bit of housekeeping was due, based on our previous experiences and your advices.
As true believers of Web 2.0 in order to give you an “enriching experience” we :

• renewed the graphics and layout (looks cooler now doesn't it?).

• introduced the following mandatory categories and [subcategories] for taxonomy: technology, embedded, programming [microcontrollers] and hardware [PCBs].

• folksonomy and its (rainless) cloud will be used as well.

But the most evident change is that we decided to split the site according to languages, keeping the original dev.emcelettronica.com for English contents, localizing Italian and Spanish contents with different URLS (guess their names?)

For French contents, we are looking for a person which is french mother-language and knows Electronics, because we want to give this part of site to a concessionaire.
