FSQ0565R Fairchild Power Switch (FPS) which is utilized in the evaluation board can be applied for the LCD monitor and the other power applications. In order to minimize the power consumption in standby mode, the start up current was supplied by JFET which is turn off during operation and the burst operation was applied. Furthermore Quasi-Resonant operation enables low EMI and high efficiency through valley switching. This evaluation board operates over an AC input range of 85VAC ~ 265VAC.
