IperSMS allows to receive SMS in an automatic, professional and economic way. You'll just need to connect it to the PC and through a serial communication management program, like Hyperterminal, you will be able to receive the SMS on your PC in order then to elaborate and/or store them in your preferred application through the classics copy/paste. |

Reuse Your old personal GSM phone for SMS control and monitoring
By Chris Aug 7th, 2007
|
The idea was born from the knowledge that everyone of us has in the drawer at least one old GSM phone, that, for varied reasons, we do not use! The following application is realized using a PIC microcontroller connected to Ericsson T18 phones, testing the compatibility also with A1018 and T28. But it is not commercialized for reasons of difficult availability of the connectors, instead it can be a lot interesting for hobby use. |

SMS pending problem
By Chris Aug 7th, 2007
|
Developing a project that uses GM862 Telit module, I have find out that the sms that are not received, goes to the service center, where they are stored and not always are being send back to us when we are reachable! Sometimes these are put in a black-list, other times these are just not being send! The problem is the GSM protocol, it seems it is like a bug! When a terminal reconnects to the network, the network does not notice the reconnection, therefore we must make our presence noticed. |
