Planning for migration to Embedded Linux
By DebasisDas Jan 21st, 2009

The most common issues on Embedded Linux are similar to issues in a standard Linux distribution. These range from administration/management issues (which packages to install, setting the right build options, etc.) to run-time issues (limited disk/swap space due to improper allocation; not enough memory – still very much an issue for an Embedded Linux system). |

5 Regal Microcontrollers meet His Majesty Linux
By Emanuele Dec 5th, 2008

Linux Embedded Microcontrollers. Regal, awe-inspiring, marvelous. How else can you define 32bit MMU equipped microcontrollers running Linux with impressive MIPS and crunching Dhrystone? 5 Regal Microcontrollers and their noble steeds: their evaluation boards for embedded application (assembling a BGA on a bread board is like the quest for the Holy GRAIL...). An article you can not miss in your bookmarks! |
