Hello, My name is Alan Gary. I am marketing manager of Precision Analog to Digital Convertors and Analog Devices. Today analog devices are known through breakthrough product of CT scanner.
The ADAS1128, 128 channel data acquisition chip facilitates the design of high size CT systems to capture real time moving images of organs such as beating hearts.
The ADAS1128 current digital convertor measures very small current generated by photodiode arrays that they take X-ray flurks passing through the bation.
The ADAS1128 simultaneously samples and converts the 128 channels with a high resolution of 24 bits at a fast sampling rate of 20k samples per sec.You will appreciate that the device is housed in a 1 square cm package and only consumes 4.5mW per channel.
My colleague Mike will give you a technical overview of the ADAS1128.

Thanks Alan. My name is Michael Collin.
I am a division fellow at analog devices and the lead designer of ADAS1128. The pattern and architecture of this product includes input signal oversampling, state of the art successor approximation convertors, as we have also used in our pulsar portfolio, and digital post processing, all technologies where EDI is an industry leader.
ADAS1128 is now available with a complete evaluation board platform as shown here. This one is running a noise form measurement on all the 128 channels.
The lower plot you see corresponds to a noise level 0.4 fanto coulombs or about 2500 electrons, which is equivalent to 2 X-ray photons in a typical CT system. Alan…

Thanks Mike. And thanks for watching. For more information on this product please visit our website at analog.com/adas1128
